Our Mission
The Justice for Fraud Victims Project (JFVP), Inc., a 501(C)3 nonprofit, collaborates with higher education institutions and anti-fraud professionals who follow the JFVP model. Our mission is to empower and support those committed to combating financial crimes against vulnerable victims. Through networking, strategic partnerships, and targeted resources, we address human resource limitations, provide funding solutions, negotiate discounted pricing for essential resources, and offer comprehensive training. Together, we strengthen the collective efforts of JFVP participants working tirelessly to protect vulnerable communities from fraud and financial crimes.
Our Stakeholders
JFVP participants use the JFVP model to fight financial crimes against vulnerable victims. The JFVP model is a community-engaged, interdisciplinary collegiate program that provides financial forensic services to small businesses, nonprofits, and vulnerable individuals who might not otherwise be able to afford such services. Teams of students, supervised by anti-fraud professionals and faculty, perform pro bono forensic analyses on cases of alleged financial crimes or occupational fraud, working closely with the alleged victim, law enforcement officials, and members of the legal profession.
